Helping people stay connected.

As part of our ongoing commitment to keep our community connected, NKTelco is proud to participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). The ACP is a federal program that provides a temporary discount of up to $30 per month (up to $75 per month for Tribal households) on broadband Internet bills to qualified households. The goal is to help households stay connected to Internet service for school, work, telemedicine appointments, and more.

Who is eligible for the ACP benefit?

Families are eligible for the ACP mostly based on income level. Any household making less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level—$55,500 for a family of four in the continental U.S.—is eligible. Households can also qualify if they participate in certain government programs like SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, Free & Reduced-Price School Lunch Programs, etc. and/or if anyone in your household is already receiving a Lifeline benefit. The White House says that 40% of the U.S. population, about 48 million households, will be eligible to sign up for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
